The 30th Annual Boonton Fire Department Christmas Parade

When: Saturday, November 30, 2024 @ 1:00PM

(Rain Date: Sunday, December 1, 2024)

Where: Parade starts at 816 Main Street / Upper Plane Street Parking Lot & ends at 124 North Main Street / Santa Land (Boonton, NJ)

Each year this tradition has continued to grow and we thank you for your continued support, interest, and participation in this incredible event!

Please review the following attachments to see how you can get involved in the festivities and for further information! We cannot wait to ring in the holiday season with you! 

Registration: Please click this link 2024 Registration Form to register! If we have any questions on our end, we will be sure to reach out to you! Otherwise, the submission of this Google Form will be your registration and provide us with all the information we need to include you in our lineup.

Here are some reminders in addition to the attachments:

• Please fill out the registration form on the attached Google Form above by November 1, 2024!

• Consider joining us by making a float! This is a fun way to get involved and also a way to win a monetary prize. Please see the attached flyer for more details, or email Loren Katsakos at Lorenk@optonline.net with any float related questions.

• If you are interested in donating to the event and being a sponsor, please let us know!

Dear Fellow Firefighters,

The Boonton Fire Department extends a cordial invitation to you and your Ladies Auxiliary to participate in our 133rd Anniversary Parade to be held Saturday August 31, 2024 beginning at 1:30 pm sharp. Rain date September 2, 2024.

For the past 87 years it has been the custom of the Boonton Fire Department to have an inspection and parade on Labor Day Weekend. It has always been well attended and very much enjoyed by those participating.

The parade will assemble in the West Boonton area and proceed down Main Street to Grant Street, to Old Boonton Road, ending at Boonton High School. The entrance to the parade assembly area will be Morris Avenue at the intersection with Rockaway Street. All units should plan to arrive no later than 12:30 pm. The apparatus judging will take place prior to the parade. We will bring the older firemen residing at the New Jersey Firemen’s Home to the reviewing stand so that they may view new equipment, comrades and possibly their former units on parade.

Please find our revised trophy list for this year’s parade. Each year we make several changes in the award list from suggestions made by our visiting firemen. These changes are made to please the majority, and we hope you are among them.

Enclosed you will find an Entry Form and the Rules and Regulations for our parade. We hope you plan to be with us on Labor Day Weekend to celebrate our 133rd Anniversary. Please complete the enclosed entry form and return it to us at your earliest convenience.
